Catholic Sisters of Kansas Meet with Governor Laura Kelly

The Catholic Sisters of Kansas at the Capitol.

On Wednesday, February 22, a group of Sisters from various women’s religious communities in Kansas traveled to Topeka to meet with Governor Laura Kelly and deliver over 200 letters supporting her bill to expand Medicaid in the state.

Gathered in the rotunda, a number of Sisters spoke about the project and their hopes for the bill’s passage.
