The special Jubilee Year celebration of the World Day of Consecrated Life that will take place during the afternoon of Sunday, February 2, 2025.
This virtual gathering is a follow-up to the worldwide meeting of representatives from the conferences of consecrated persons that was held in Rome in February 2024 in preparation for the Jubilee Year. The Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life (DICLSAL)is
encouraging consecrated men and women in each country to mark the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope in a special way during the World Day of Consecrated Life.
This hour-long gathering, a collaborative effort of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men, the Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, the United States Association of Consecrated Virgins, and the United States Conference of Secular
Institutes, will feature brief testimonies and a bilingual English/Spanish Rosary for Peace. A Spanish translation of the entire program will also be available. Cardinal Christophe Pierre, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, will offer a welcome and opening prayer.
